Balmain Spring/Summer 2016 at Paris Fashion Week

In an opening note from Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain explained his design inspiration for his Spring/Summer 2016 collection, showcased in Paris, "For spring 2016, my aim is to consolidate that recent progress, while pushing Balmain forward, in a bold exploration of new possibilities. You’ll recognize the house’s now signature pairing of a strong silhouettes and couture techniques, while noting the addition of distinctly lighter fabrics, an entirely new palette and an overall sleek spirit."
