Saint Laurent to Skip Men's Fashion Week, Vaccarello to Make Debut at Women's Fashion Week Instead
By SENATUS Magazine | 7 June 2016

After Anthony Vaccarello took over as Saint Laurent's creative director in April following Hedi Slimane's departure, the French fashion label has announced it will not be participating in the Men's Fashion Week showcase for the Spring/Summer 2017 season.

Instead, the Belgian designer will make his debut during Women's Fashion Week in Paris come collection for the house in September as part of the women’s ready-to-wear circuit

Vaccarello previously worked at Fendi before launching his own line in 2009. He was promoted to creative director of Versus Versace in early 2015 by Donatella Versace – a collaboration that ended with his appointment at Saint Laurent.
