Play as a Prescription at Playeum
By Singapore Strong | 19 February 2020

Playeum champions ALL children, regardless of needs or abilities, through play, creativity and the arts. Playeum runs Singapore's first dedicated creative space for children aged 1 - 12, the Children's Centre for Creativity at Gillman Barracks.

The Centre presents different themed hands-on exhibitions every year, with its current being I-Opener - an interactive experience that invites families to explore artful play through their senses.

Other than running the Children’s Centre for Creativity, Playeum also creates social impact through community outreach, training for teachers, space design, research and high-touch programmes with the social sector.

There's also a maker space section filled with up-cycled materials that families can use to de-stress, bond and make things with.

+Head to Playeum Children’s centre for Creativity to bond through play and the arts. Build your child’s creativity and problem solving skills. $23 per child and adult for the whole day. www.playeum.com

+ Playeum is also an IPC charity and if you wish to support children from marginalised backgrounds with our programmes- you can volunteer or donate at www.giving.sg/web/playeum-ltd
