Burberry celebrates the Year of the Horse with an intimate new campaign and a specialized capsule collection featuring house ambassadors Chen Kun, Tang Wei, Wu Lei, and Zhang Jingyi. Photographed by Anton Gottlob against the bustling backdrop of Shanghai, the campaign captures the poetic rush of the city as characters move toward a shared reunion. This cinematic approach highlights moments of warmth and humor found within the hum of the streets.
The heart of the Burberry Year of the Horse Collection focuses on the house’s iconic Knight, a motif that has represented protection and innovation since its inception in 1901. For this limited edition, the logo is playfully reimagined as a watercolor and ink sketch. These artistic renderings are brought to life through sophisticated craft techniques including metallic embroidery, cross-stitch, and appliquéd badges.
Rooted in a palette of red to symbolize luck and prosperity, the collection introduces an exclusive new red Burberry Check across daywear and scarves. Key outerwear pieces such as the Berryhill car coat and the Floriston quilted jacket are rendered in iridescent nylon. The seasonal Knight also details an expanded selection of gifting options, ranging from soft accessories to small leather goods.
