Louis Vuitton’s recently opened high end jewelry store in Place Vendome has just got a lot more glamorous with the introduction of Escale á Paris as part of the L’Ame du Voyage (Love of Travel) Collection. The collection, set in motion by jewelry designer Lorenz Baumer epitomizes the ‘city of lights’, represent the boulevard of Paris through extensive use of yellow and white diamonds throughout the collection.
Place Vendome is a two-storey boutique which has its own workshop, boasting of a diamond cut in the shape of Vuitton’s flower logo valued at 9 million Euro (about $11 million) and a diamond-and-ruby encrusted ring called the Champs-Elysees worth $92,000. The ring, featured above, maps out the streets of Paris and in particular the Place Vendôme.
