Summer is nearly upon us, and as a new tradition, Hublot is releasing a new timepiece to herald in the season.
Basking on the beach under clear blue skies. What better way to encapsulate that sensation than with the new Big Bang Unico Sky Blue 42 mm, resplendent in the colour of the bright clear sky.
It is encased in ceramic, a material in which Hublot has become an expert. In 2019, Hublot created brightly coloured ceramic in a patented world first. Since then, the brand has had almost every Pantone colour at its disposal.
The dial showcases the column wheel of the HUB1280 manufacture calibre, a self winding chronograph movement with a 72 hour power reserve, with white luminescent hands and indices, which appear suspended. The movement can also be admired through the sapphire caseback.
The brand's six iconic screws encircle the blue of the bezel made from polished and sati finished ceramic. Developed using the brand's unique processes to produce this exclusive colour and unrivalled comfort, this high tech material is hypoallergenic and adapts to the temperature of the skin. It is lightweight and ultra resistant to oxidation and scratching, to add to its aesthetic presentation as a perfect companion for the summer.
The new Summer edition of the Big Bang Unico comes with a Velcro strap with sports fastener, as well as its iconic lined natural rubber version with a titanium deployant buckle. This limited edition of just 200 pieces that will be available from the e-boutique and at the brand's 130 points of sale located in some of the world's most iconic and exclusive cities.
