This year, to mark the forthcoming FIFA World Cup to be held from 12 June to 13 July, for which Hublot is the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch, the Swiss watch brand is featuring its brand ambassadors Pelé, José Mourinho, Turin's Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Bayern Munich, Luiz Felipe Scolari, Falcao, Roy Hodgson, Xherdan Shaqiri to Amsterdam's Ajax in a series of striking and exceptional portraits.

Recently rejoining the prestigious ranks of the HUBLOT ambassadors, José Mourinho confidently (and justifiably so) self-coined as "The Special One," fronts the aptly named King Power 'Special One' timepiece by the Swiss manufacturer.
As the winner of 2 UEFA Champions Leagues trophies, domestic league and cup championships in Portugal (FC Porto), England (Chelsea), Italy (Internazionale Milan) and Spain (Real Madrid), Mourinho is arguably the most celebrated and successful football manager of the modern era. On a personal front, the industry has also recognised his impressive achievements, showering him with numerous awards most notably with the inaugural FIFA Coach of the Year in 2010.
It was not only his self-confidence, tactical shrewdness and immaculate style on his storied path to greatness that drew HUBLOT to the enigmatic Portuguese but equally important was that he never lost touch with his roots and continually credits his family as paramount to his success.

The King Power 'Special One' is a direct representation of Jose Mourinho the man and his favourite colour, with a diameter of 48mm featuring a sleek, sporty design. The carbon fibre has a dark blue colour directly integrated within the material, the moulded bezel as well as its counters, hands and minute track is also blue, finished off elegantly with a navy blue alligator strap.
Incidentally, 3 of the 4 championship-winning clubs Mourinho has managed - FC Porto, Internazionale Milan and Chelsea - all have blue as their home colours while Real Madrid's away jerseys are blue.
The King Power timepiece features the Manufacture's UNICO chronograph movement, entirely designed, developed, machined and assembled by its micro-mechanical engineers, engineers and watchmakers. The Flyback chronograph allowing for instant restarting is unique in the watchmaking industry and is distinguished by the position of its mechanism with a horizontal double clutch and the famous "column wheel" visible on the dial side.
Prominent on the dial are a 60-second counter and a smaller 60-minute counter as well as date indication.
The pallet fork and escapement wheel are made from silicon, whose lightness guarantees excellent performance.
Comprising of 330 component pieces, several of which produced using LIGA technology, the timepiece is manufactured with high precision, ensuring high reliability. The frequency of 4hz/28,800 vibrations per hour and its immaculate finish are also a guarantee of high chronometric quality.
Making its debut at this year's Baselworld, the King Power 'Special One' is available in Titanium and King Gold, the latter being Hublot's famed red gold, "redder" and more precious thanks to the additional 5% platinum.
