ONE (Singapore) recently launched "Stand Up 2008" at The Forbidden City (Clarke Quay), together with a host of local celebrities and personalities including Nadya Hutagalung, Andrea de Cruz, Hossan Leong, Angelique Nicolette Teo and Jack Wong. 

Together with Vernetta Lopez, President of ONE (SINGAPORE), each personality and celebrity pledged their commitment to the completion of a Millennium Development Goal (MDG) such as Environmental Sustainability and Global Partnership by 2015, to Make Poverty History. 

By doing so, they are adding their voices to the millions who believe that it is not right that we live in a world where every three seconds, a child dies from extreme poverty.
