"Josephine" exhibition by Chaumet in Doha, Qatar

16 February 2023

From the 7 to 10 February, Chaumet hosted the Joséphine exhibition in Doha, Qatar. The exhibition was held in the high-end Ned Doha hotel, which is located in the former Ministry of Interior building, and overlooks the Arabian Gulf and the skyline of the capital Doha.

This marked the first high jewellery exhibition at the hotel which is known for celebrating the architectural heritage of the country as well as its vision for the future. Guests of the Maison were invited to discover the Empress Joséphine de Beauharnais who reinvented fashion with her own sense of power. She was famous for her stunning tiaras who are the ultimate symbol of feminine sovereignity. It was her grace and strength that made her Imperial France’s ambassador and a global fashion icon and that inspired the establishment of the jeweler in 1780 in the first place.
