Mini Panthère de Cartier #SIHH2019

18 March 2019

By Peter Vossner

For Cartier, the Panthère de Cartier watch is an ever-evolving idea. Having revived this design from the archives two years ago, Cartier is adding two two new interpretations this year.

One of these is the new mini watch, imbued with the essence of the Panthère de Cartier watch. It is a celebratory, hedonistic and ultra-feminine spirit that Cartier pushes to its very extremes through jewellery.

In this timepiece, the stylistic exercise concentrates on proportion. A replica of the original model, it takes its forms to new heights of elegance. Streamlined, authentic and sophisticated, it combines the very best of Cartier design. Tiny screws punctuate the bezel with style, while the flexible links of the gold bracelet coil around the wrist. The soft square shape, legendary octagonal sapphire winding crown, and Roman numerals are other signature features.

This delicate jewellery watch lends itself to pairings or accumulations of several bracelets.

At once updated yet timeless, the Panthère de Cartier mini watch expresses the indelible symbol's ever freer, more daring and triumphant elegance.
