TAG Heuer is betting on the future of Tennis, signing on three next-generation tennis athletes to its list of brand ambassadors. Felix Auger Aliassime, Alex de Minaur and Frances Tiafoe in their early 20s join Denis Shapovalov of Canada who has been a TAG Heuer brand ambassador since 2017. That year he not only broke into the international tennis scene, but also defeated tennis legend Rafael Nadal at the Montreal Masters.
Together the four tennis players will be part of a new "Break Tennis" campaign by TAG Heuer wherein the brand showcases the stars in action, and encourages them to break their own records and keep moving forward, breaking tennis records and making a new history.
For TAG Heuer these young tennis stars are all about not cracking under pressure – making them a perfect fit for the brand, whose tag line is "Don’t Crack Under Pressure." Each of these players are asked to, and expect themselves to pushed their limits, and move forward with determination and precision. Again, in-line with TAG Heuer's product proposition.
Each of these athletes will be wearing TAG Heuer timepieces off the courts. Currently their watches of choice include the Carrera Calibre 16, the Connected Modular 45, the Aquaracer Caliber 5 and Acquaracer quartz.
To further underscore its commitment to tennis, TAG Heuer also teamed with the Italian Tennis Federation to become the Official Timekeeper and Official Watch for the Next Gen ATP Finals. It will be held at the end of the season and features the best 21-and-under players for the year.
